Stone Soup Suppers

At St. Stephen Episcopal Church
Every Monday night from 5:30 – 6:30pm at St. Stephen.

Stone Soup Suppers are free community dinners, served every Monday from 5:30-6:30pm. The program was started by St. Stephen's and now also involves members from area churches (Atonement Lutheran Church, First Presbyterian Church of Newport, Sacred Heart Catholic Church) with each church being responsible for the meal once a month and Central Coast Unitarian-Universalist Fellowship on fifth Mondays.

At Stone Soup we serve hot meals with plentiful food, delicious desserts, and often appetizers to stave off hunger while our guests wait for dinner to begin and/or sandwiches for our guests to take home with them after dinner. Our dinners are served family style, with the guests seated at tables set with real plates, glasses, and flatware. Local musicians often provide live music before and during the meal.
